LACE looking for volunteers
Hello All!
I would like to follow up on Bridget's email from last week. I am writing on
behalf of LACE as the new Volunteer Coordinator. I am excited to start
working with all of our wonderful volunteers! We are gearing up for the
annual auction that is taking place next month. This year's auction, to be
held on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at LACE, is entitled TASTE: LACE's 28th
Annual Benefit Art Auction.
Just to recap the important dates- thanks so much for folks that have
already signed up! If you haven't already, I'm looking forward to hearing
from you!
:: Sat April 14 (11am-4pm) ::
THIS WEEKEND! -- Invitation stuffing party
:: Sat & Sun, Apr 21 & 22 (11am-4pm each day) ::
Invitation stuffing party
:: Sat April 28 (6pm-9pm) ::
Art hanging/packing materials prep party
:: Wednesday, May 2 (5pm-10pm) ::
Private VIP/Artists Preview
:: Weeks of May 3-18 (Wed-Sun 11:30am-6:30pm, Fridays 11:30am-9:30pm) ::
Docents during gallery hours when we are open to the public
:: Saturday, May 12 (5pm-7:30pm) ::
Technical rehearsal for TASTE, for all Auction volunteers
:: Saturday, May 19 (4pm-11pm) ::
THE AUCTION - TASTE. We need ushers, check-in staff, art handlers, art
packers, silent auction monitors, and more. Also need volunteers to prep
during the day.
If you can help us on any of these dates, please let me know ASAP. Feel free
to sign up for a partial shift, but let me know what time you are available.
And please send good people our way if you know others who would like to
volunteer!
The Auction would not be possible without the passionate, talented,
energetic volunteers who generously contribute their time and talents. As a
